Research Experience
Lab-
Research Assistant @ Foreseer Group, University of Michigan
Reinforcement fine-tuning for behavioral foundation models (be.fm-8B). Model inference and evaluation on multiple behavioral benchmark tasks.
-
Research Assistant @ National University of Singapore
Built a multimodal classifier combining dermatology images and patient demographics via late fusion. Applied Group-DRO re-weighting across demographic subgroups to over-sample underrepresented groups.
-
Undergraduate Researcher @ University of Wisconsin-Madison
Developed an interpretability tool to diagnose reasoning failures in arithmetic tasks. Designed error attribution framework to compare failure patterns across Transformer architectures.
-
Undergraduate Researcher @ URPS, University of Michigan
Implemented a self-improvement framework that substantially improve the length generalization ability of LLMs on arithemetic tasks. Poster presented at 2025 URPS and CSE Undergraduate Research Symposium.
Internships
Practice-
Data Analyst @ AstraZeneca
Collaborated with Business Intelligence team to built Power BI dashboards to visualize sales KPIs. Identified and reconciled data discrepancies between Power BI system and local databases, documenting inconsistencies and generating weekly reports.
